We are not sure exactly when we termed the cheese/charcuterie appetizer course the “Treat Tray” but whenever it started, it stuck. And, for good reason!

•There are no real directions, anything goes on a Treat Tray.
• Some of my favorites on the recent Treat Tray I made for Memorial Day weekend in ‘Mona; Cowgirl Creamery’s Mt. Tam, Fra’mani Salametto, P’tit Basque, Brillat-Savarin, Pecorino, La Saison Napa Valley Roasted Almonds and Rustic Bakery Crackers. Add some pears and grapes, and I’ll say that’s a perfect Treat Tray.
