Spiced Moroccan Vegetable Soup (Harira)
Perfect for a cold, rainy San Francisco winter night.
Just as Good As Gazpacho in Spain
After a trip to Spain this summer, we were inspired to make a gazpacho as delicious as we had in Spain. We hit a home run!
Pan Roasted Guero Chiles
Beautiful AND delicious side dish for just about anything.
Pasta Tossed With Spring Vegetables
This is a super easy dish – great as a main or as a side, any combination of spring vegetables would work – and any pasta too. I just happen to be in love with The Pasta Shop’s ravioli (available at Bi-Rite and Bryan’s and I’m sure elsewhere). Would also be nice with fresh ricotta mixed in at end instead of parmesan.
Grilled English Peas
I discovered these on a trip to LA at a restaurant called Tar and Roses. These are delicious and easy to make. You eat them like edamame.
Asparagus Soup
This is a healthy, delicious and ridiculously easy soup to make. I make a batch and store it in milk containers for quick, healthy lunches. I also sometimes make it with broccoli and according to Gwyneth, you can make it with any vegetable. She adds arugula to the puree process when making with broccoli but I find it makes the soup too bitter.
Just Grilled Vegetables
These grilled vegetables are so simple to make. They compliment any meal or could just be eaten alone. We suggest making extra to have all week. Put them in your salads!
Grilled Chicken “Diavolo” with Caprese Rigatoni
This is an easy and quick meal with huge bold flavors. It is definitely comfort food. I totally ad-libbed this recipe and it turned out incredible.
